"The tale of a sailor" is a self-referential documentary, which relates the most important events of the filmmaker's life, through an imaginary character, a sailor who arrives with his plastic raft to the coasts of Cuba to get to know its people, its idiosyncrasy, portray the current reality and make a retrospective of the revolutionary history of the island, through the testimonies of its inhabitants.
