Through various testimonies, we gain insight into the experiences of a group of women who daily challenge the paradigms of patriarchy and redefine the role of contemporary women in the Venezuelan plains. All this while they prepare to participate in the International Llaneridad Fair, a celebration held by the Páez municipality in Apure State, where year after year, the traditions and customs of the plains are revived and brought to life.
