This is an animated piece that comes alive to tell a story of tragedy, hope, and resilience. The short film narrates the moving story of a female margay who is a protector of nature, accompanied by other characters who play a fundamental and emotional role in this adventure. It is based on the unfortunate events of the fires that severely affected our green areas between March and May 2024, a period that deeply moved the Honduran people. The green of our land is a treasure we cannot take for granted. This short film confronts us with the possibility of irreversible loss if we do not take care of our ecosystem. Through its images, I hope to sow the seed of awareness in everyone so that, together, we ensure that the tragedy of 2024 is never repeated.
