In 2014 Niels Skifte went lost when the weather overcame him while caribou hunting before the end of the hunting period in Niaqunngunaq, east of Atammik. His hunting companions looked for him in vain and had to report him missing to the Police and a search for him began. People were volunteering to help the search, Air Greenland did a search with their S61 aircraft, lots of Police went with search dogs – but on the 4th day they decided to stop the search. He got rescued when he saw fishermen from Atammik fishing with bottom nets on the 6th day. Now the editing of the story is finished. The documentary was well received in Nuuk International Film Festival will a full cinema and standing ovations when we got into the Q&A.
