Iron Skeleton

“Fragmented into a thousand parts, with doubts about who I am, where I come from, how that influences me particularly as well as that great Caribbean to which I belong; I undertook a trip that I did not plan would change my life so much, just at the moment when my life was taking a firmer and more economically accurate course, but with so many incomplete things about myself that remained at the beginning of a search for my memories, for my ancestry, for my identity. Take that plane following a lifelong dream, that dream that would make me feel fulfilled, more complete and doing what they say that “when working doing what you love is not work”. In that walk I found so many white walls which I had to tear down, I found love and from her hand the footsteps hurt less, I still seek to heal, heal all those broken parts, that although I walk like this, I did not always arrive completely where I am going. . “Skeleton of Iron” is an experimental short film that portrays my migratory process (with all its burdens, pains, reflections, etc.) to Brazil suffering from a disease, new to me, and with an eternal saudade for all my loved ones.
