The true story about how a symphonic cantata composed in May 2022 and whose text are poems by the Ukrainian poet Lesya Ukrainka (1871-1913) could be premiered in Russia in September 2022 during the Invasion of Ukraine. Lesya Ukrainka´s poems denounced in the 19th century the same thing that is taking place in 2023: the oppression of the Russian government against the Ukrainian people.
