Dr. Menéndez receives Ilio and Yina, a couple seeking to erase the young woman’s sexual history through an innovative medical procedure called “dessingación”. As the doctor questions and probes into his new patients’ intimate lives —while attempting to explain the risks and benefits of the surgery through his unsettlingly unconventional rhetoric— Ilio’s profound insecurities become increasingly evident, as well as Yina’s past, on whom the doctor focuses all his attention, later revealing his hidden side.
