How sewing regenerates communities? Re:Birth – Regenerative Textiles - captures workshops in Berlin, Germany, and Guimarães, Portugal, where participants of all ages and cultural backgrounds transform leftovers and old clothes into new creations. The result is a social ritual, a space where lives and experiences converge, skills are shared, and new ones are discovered. Innovation and tradition, from village to city, create tangible social impact across Europe and show how participatory art can regenerate communities. Re:Birth project is an Erasmus+ intiative by Trial&Error (Berlin) and Caisa (Portugal), with workshops in Berlin led by Sewcial Berlin.
